As a firm believer of the US constitution, at the debate you seem to stumble on questions on the Constitution. Are you a champion of the 2nd amendment? Why only the 2nd amendment is not the other part of the constitution have some importance’s?
Marsha Judkins says:
I’m so sorry for this late reply–for some reason I didn’t see your question until just now. I did stumble on the question about repealing amendments to the Constitution. I thought I would be asked about the issues that Utah is facing, such as how to handle growth, homelessness, healthcare costs, and the loss of agricultural lands and water. If it comes to the point that the Utah legislature is in the position of voting whether or not to repeal amendments to the Constitution, I will be ready to handle those questions. 🙂 I am against a Constitutional Convention at this point.
I fully support the Constitution and feel it is an amazing, divinely inspired document. I also fully support the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment is getting more attention right now because of the dialogue surrounding the recent mass shootings, but the entire Constitution is vitally important.
